Job Opportunity:
Youth Director
First Presbyterian Church of McKinney, Texas is with God's guidance seeking a part time Youth Director.
Responsibilities:
Organizing and planning biblically based youth ministry, supporting the mission and vision of FPC. Grades six through twelve. Involves working with the Christian Nurture Ministry on Sunday school, as well as local mission and Presbytery conferences and camps for youth groups.
Qualifications:
- A confessed and committed disciple of Jesus Christ.
- A bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in education or related field, youth ministry training is preferred.
- Able to creatively and collaboratively work with church staff.
Time requirements:
- Ten to twelve hours per week, including three hours on Sunday morning participation in education and worship service.
- Youth group and weekly bible study.
